Elayne created the Safe Embrace Trauma Healing Program (SETH™) a global training and support program for caregivers and survivors to facilitate trauma healing and leadership development circles in their own communities. She is currently implementing this program in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) at a safe house for survivors of sexual and gender-based trauma and is scheduled to bring the SETH™ program to Nepal in 2014 and to Kenya in 2015. In 2013 Elayne launched the SETH Training Program a grassroots train-the-trainer program that offers a basic, simple and effective curriculum that can be specifically tailored to culturally diverse communities of women and girls.
